Master Builder Institute of media studies MBIMS is a renowned Media Institution registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria as an educational outfit to provide functional and quality education/training in media technology. The founders have being in the media industry for close to two decades, producing media contents and service delivery of media contents. The focus of the institute is developing the media industry with the technical ‘know how’ required for harnessing and deploying MEDIA as an effective tool for positive social transformation.
Media both in its physical and commercial aspects, is undergoing changes and therefore, poses stronger challenges and demands on the practitioners in the industry. The programmes at MBIMS are therefore tailored towards re-engineering the media industry in Nigeria in line with the requirements of the regulatory bodies towards producing high quality personnel capable of meeting the constant changes, demands and challenges in the global media industry. The institute’s practices are world class in standard and prepares her graduates for the reality of their global marketability by ensuring that they are well exposed, confident, self-reliant and employable anywhere in the world.
Our curriculum emphasizes rigorous hands on training and early industry exposure as a springboard to success if and when our students which to create their own media content like film production, documentary, web development and design, media campaigns etc. and also meet the need of Hi-Tech Industries. The programmes of the institute are specifically designed to develop in young men and women a life time critical thinking abilities and strong leadership abilities that will be shown by continued intellectual exploration and creativity with cutting-edge skills to establish their own businesses if desired.
